Dominicanos USA Made History in the June Primary in New York

The recent June 28th New York primary was a historic moment. Dominicanos USA (DUSA) successfully embarked on an unprecedented Get Out the Vote campaign. Our tireless team reached every corner of our communities in order to get voters to their polls. This campaign demonstrated to the citizens of New York that, when a community is organized, united and empowered, things can change for the better.

We at DUSA are extremely proud of our accomplishments thus far in this election cycle. For the past three years, we have worked hard to promote civic engagement in the Dominican-American community. Our goal has always been simple: to mobilize Dominican-Americans to go out and cast their votes for the benefit of their families and their communities. With the use of cutting edge technology, and savvy, culturally relevant methodology, DUSA became the first ever Dominican-American institution to register over 100,000 voters in the United States. Now, after the June 28th primary, our community has claimed its stake in America’s political process and has proved that the Latino vote is a force to be reckoned with.

With the primary campaign over, it’s time to set our sights on the November general election. Let’s show America what an empowered community can do. Let’s set an example of what a group of organized voters, with their heads held up and marching towards a goal hand in hand can accomplish. This is the moment when we Dominican-Americans of every background, unite and teach America a lesson on democracy and civic leadership. We need your support now more than ever. Make your contribution here in order to help us establish a stronger democratic foundation to our communities. Any donation is extremely welcome. Every dollar adds up and makes huge impact on the long run.

This is our moment. With your help, we are going to seize it.
