On September 22, people all over the nation celebrated National Voter Registration Day. We were very pleased to have been invited by the Rhode Island Secretary of State, Nellie Gorbea, to her event celebrating voter registration. It was an honor to be among city and state officials as we acknowledged the importance of voting in our community. Take a moment to hear excerpts of Gorbea’s speech in the audio clip below.
