Why is DUSA Codes?
DusaCodes is one of the initiatives that Dominicanos USA (DUSA) created to empower the Dominican-American community. DUSA is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization committed to the civic, social, and economic integration of Dominican Americans into the fabric of American society. DUSA strives to ensure that every U.S. citizen is able to freely exercise their civic rights, realize their full potential, and capitalize on all opportunity the U.S. has to offer.
We are an education program that offers free coding classes to the Dominican American community. Our mission is to provide access to coding education to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity. We believe that learning to code can be a powerful tool for creating economic opportunity and building a better future.
Code
We use Visual Studio Code as our primary integrated development environment (IDE) for coding. Visual Studio Code is a free, open-source code editor that provides a rich set of features to help you write and debug code more efficiently.
One of the advantages of using Visual Studio Code is that it supports a wide range of programming languages, including C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This means that you can use Visual Studio Code to write and debug code for a variety of applications, from web development to game development.
