We currently have many professional training programs available in various fields. Bilingual Medical Assistant is one of our popular programs. This free training program helps individuals improve their English skills. It also hands them the tools they need to succeed as a medical assistant. Medical assistants perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a doctor. These tasks can include preparing patients for exams, drawing blood, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records.
We also offer training programs for Bilingual Commercial Drivers. Commercial drivers are responsible for the transportation of people and products. Common duties include planning routes and road trips, inspecting and maintaining a large commercial vehicle, and navigating busy streets and highways.
Bridge-to-Tech is another one of our popular training programs. Bridge-to-Tech is designed for individuals with cultural barriers to employment, including foreign-born New Yorkers who write and speak well in English. This program helps individuals develop technical skills, prepare them for further trainings in web development, and prepare them to succeed in in-person interviews.
We also offer career development workshops that help prepare individuals before entering the work field. These include resume reviews, interview preparation, and negotiation and conflict resolution.
